Forging a greater and more unified Collective within the Greater World community and beyond

How does one community transform their decades-long history of frustration, confusion and interpersonal conflict into a heart-based movement?

We’re writing that story now…

It’s an adventure in community alchemy. We’re transforming the energy of our collective frustration around what has not been working for us by reinvesting that same energy with aligned intent toward something that does.

It’s a process of individual and collective transcendence. As each community member brings their unique skills, experience, talents, insights, interests and resources to the table, we’re not only upleveling our community, we’re upleveling ourselves in the process.

And it is a quest for sovereignty. By claiming our response-ability for our own personal experience as a part of the greater whole, we are collectively, creatively and collaboratively contributing to the shared vision we wish to see.

and we’re having fun in the process!

The winding path toward a shared vision of sovereignty…

“You thought I knew where the road was and you followed me.
But no. I didn’t know where the road was.
We had to make the road together.
And that is what we did.
That’s how we got where we wanted to be.
We made the road. It wasn’t there.”

Subcomandante Marcos, Zapatista Army of National Liberation

GWCC Offerings

Our GWCC Offerings are a way of inspiring and empowering your journey towards sovereignty while helping us to build upon our own endeavors of fully achieving and sharing our path toward that aim.

From practical and informative to playful and contemplative, our resources are meant to engage others from a broad spectrum approach inviting all aspects of our shared human potential to the fore.

Should you feel inspired to share your own passion, resources and ideas for community sovereignty, we invite you to join the extended conversation in the OSSF. This branch platform is a dedicated space for the like-minded and like-hearted to contribute to the shared human journey of creative social solutions and sustainable sovereignty that will forge a new era of true empowerment among the human collective.

  • May our very "Winding Journey" be an inspiring guide (and/or cautionary tale) to inform your own epic adventure toward communal sovereignty.

"We cannot seek achievement for ourselves and forget about progress and prosperity for our community... Our ambitions must be broad enough to include the aspirations and needs of others, for their sakes and for our own."

    -Cesar Chavez

  • "TAC (To Avoid Corruption / To Align with Consciousness) Mag" is a digital periodical born of a need for greater connection with Spirit and our truest most authentic selves.

TAC is an honoring and celebration of what it means to be truly and fully human as we seek greater realization of our higher potential as authentic and empowered individuals while learning to be fully present with and for one another.

  • Greater World Uni education is a low-cost membership offering practical knowledge for those endeavoring to live a more sustainable, adaptive and independent lifestyle with a particular focus on sovereignty (of course) and off-grid sustainability.

  • The GWCC web shop includes everything from handmade goods and creative works (made by our local community members) to indoor gardening and pest abatement products, inspiring and instructional books, off-grid tools, supplies and schematics… all curated to support your sovereign earth warrior journey.

  • Sage Woman Tea & Spice Co. is our online tea and spice shop. It represents our collaborations with sovereign sister communities globally as well as our local artisans.

Our dream is to more fully manifest this concept into a physical tea house café located within the original Greater World residential community in northern New Mexico. Through our completely off-grid tea house we hope to provide a beautiful example of what earthship philosophy has to offer while empowering our community members to support themselves locally and have a place to meet and mingle with visitors and one another.

    Sage Woman Tea House vision:

The most pinnacle aspects of earthship design are incorporated into and demonstrated through the building for all visitors to directly experience and be inspired by.

A large dining room creates a sense of greater community among all who enter. Light-filled and shadow-dappled with the presence of abundant foliage, the space represents a play of earth, fire, water and air united to bring about a profound sense of playful interconnectedness.

From our traditional Horno brick ovens for cooking to our tranquil fish ponds feeding our greywater gardens which supply all our local vegetal fare and then… toilets, of course, which feed the magnificent foliage outside our grand windows framing great vistas of Sanger de Cristo mountain, mesa and sky. The beauty of this efficiently interrelated system is a reminder to us of our most fundamental and nourishing connections with nature and one another.

Join us in Summer months for movie nights on our patio dining area where the maginifqent sky above provides its own show.

To bring a bit of this experience home with you and share with others, we offer our sweet lavender and savory brown butter sage tea biscuits as well as our spices, handcrafted teas and locally made tea wares via our web shop.

  • Our “Open Source Sovereignty Forum” (OSSF) is a digital interface to facilitate the sharing of ideas and productive exchanges between our local and global GWCC members as well as with other organizations, individuals and groups dedicated to supporting the sovereignty of small communities.

“We can chart our future clearly and wisely only when we know the path which has led to the present..” ~ Adlai Stevenson II

For those new to the Community (or “old” but new in understanding), we’ve assembled an abbreviated timeline of GW evolution for reference…
